The Hugh Downs School of Human Communication provides academic advising on a scheduled appointment basis Monday through Friday.

Because ASU has made the decision to extend online classes through the end of the spring semester, all academic advising will be done remotely, either by email or phone.

Our academic advisors help students successfully transition to the university and make progress towards their educational goals and graduation. Communication majors are encouraged to meet with an advisor at least once a year.

When you have a scheduled appointment time, instead of calling into the Hugh Downs School office (480-965-5095) for your appointment, your advisor will be calling you.

Make sure you have your phone available at the time of your appointment.  When your phone rings, your incoming call will display “Private Caller” because your advisor will be working remotely.

In addition, walk-in hours have been canceled.  If you have questions about this, please email your advisor.

Our Advisors:

Carol Comito
Kyle Fray
Dan Schwimmer
Debra Daly
Barbara DeDecker

Your advisor will be calling you.  Please make sure you are scheduling an appointment during Arizona time.
