The Hugh Downs School of Human Communication has more than 20,000 undergraduate and graduate alumni excelling in various careers throughout the world. Our alums include a Pulitzer Prize winner, CEOs, attorneys, professional athletes, and public relations and media professionals. We are proud of our alums and always excited to hear their latest news or have them visit.
Our PhD program reached an impressive milestone in September 2023, when we officially awarded our 250th doctoral degree! This accomplishment shines on the vision of the program founders, the numerous successes from over three decades of students and faculty, and the steady management of several doctoral directors of the past. Our first doctoral degree was awarded in December of 1990. Among our 250 alumni are professors, consultants, department chairs, deans, industry researchers, and entrepreneurs.
Please keep us up to date on your successes, we always enjoy hearing from you. If you haven’t already, be sure to get in touch with the ASU Alumni Association for all ASU news.
