IDS with COM Concentration

Interested in studying communication alongside another academic interest?

ASU’s Interdisciplinary Studies (BA) lets students combine two subject-area concentrations into a single, integrated program. This flexible structure helps students connect communication with another field such as business, health, technology, or the social sciences.

Students who select communication as one of their concentrations complete 18 credit hours of communication coursework. At least 9 credit hours must be ASU resident credit, including 6 credit hours of upper-division courses. A minimum grade of C is required in all communication concentration courses.
