COM 501 Communication Research
Assistantships carry a compensatory stipend for services rendered, including activities that are relevant to each student’s own program of study, and contribute to ASU’s teaching and research effort. Graduate assistantships for doctoral students include a stipend for the academic year. These packages may also include a tuition waiver and health insurance. Assistants must be enrolled for a minimum of six credit hours each semester (audit hours do not count towards the six-hour minimum).
The Interdisciplinary Ph.D. Program In Communication application process is completed online through ASU Graduate Education.
Applicants must fulfill the requirements of both the Graduate College and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Applicants are eligible to apply to the program if they have earned a bachelor's or master's degree, in any field, from a regionally accredited institution.
Criteria
Applicants for the Herberger Fellowship in Communication must be graduate students in good standing in the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication who will be enrolled in the graduate program full time during the 2018-2019 academic year.
Applicants also must be engaged in studying and/or researching topics related to conflict transformation or work/life (as evidenced by courses taken, papers written, papers presented at conferences, and/or manuscripts submitted for publication).
