Southwest Speech and Debate at ASU
The Hugh Downs School of Human Communication runs a speech and debate program on the Tempe campus each summer in July for high school students.
Managed by the ASU Forensics Team, the high school program brings more than 100 students from across the Southwest to attend the Southwest Speech and Debate program for two weeks of instruction in July.
The Arizona Debate Institute
The program, also managed by the ASU Forensics Team, is for college students. Geared toward the novice or first or second-year participants in college policy debate, it is the only such instruction for college students in the country.
