Alexa Graves, who graduated from the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication Spring Semester 2019 had set her sight on the entertainment industry.
Graves was recognized with a Moeur Award, given to graduating undergraduate students with a 4.0 GPA, who earned all of their courses at ASU within eight consecutive fall and spring semesters with no transfer hours.
Now, three years later, in addition to working as a marketing assistant for Psyko Steve Presents, one of Arizona's most prominent music event companies, she is also a musical performer using the stage name "Sorry X" - garnering 100,000+ monthly visitors on Spotify.
Graves credits her degree in communication with her ability to network, market her brand, maintain a following on social media, as well as feel more comfortable performing on stage.
