Our global café seeks to promote community building and broaden (literally and metaphorically) the tastes and horizons of faculty and students in terms of intercultural understanding.
Using food as a context for global and cross-cultural understanding, our meetings provide opportunities to establish insights into diverse cultures.
We also invite guests from other schools at ASU to join us, to provide another avenue for intercultural encounters, and to promote understanding in interdisciplinary research.
Our recent outings and guests include:
Professor Karen Mossberger, Frank and June Sackton Chair and Professor, Director, Center on Technology, Data and Society, School of Public Affairs, Arizona State University.
Andrew Maynard, Professor of Advanced Technology Transitions in the ASU School for the Future of Innovation in Society, and Director of ASU Future of Being Human Community.
